Our Magnetic Tape Tracking Sensors give precise positional data from magnetic tape strips. These sensors deliver an electronic signal to a control system, indicating the position of magnetic tape beneath them, including offset to the right or left. There is an additional signal if there is no tape detected. These sensors are typically used in automatic guided vehicles (AGV’s).

FERROUS METAL PROXIMITY SENSORS

Our Ferrous Metal Proximity Sensors utilize built-in permanent magnets to detect the presence or movement of ferrous metals over a variety of distances. These sensors are able “see through” nonmagnetic metals like aluminum. These sensors are ideal for detecting ferrous metal targets where a sensor can be placed within about 3″ (75mm) to the target.
